Anita Barone
An actor with many talents who has mainly been cast in comedy shows that air on TV, Anita Barone received her best shot in the medium by playing wife to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which played for one season on ABC in 1995-96. Barone's first stage appearance was when she was five years old, in Detroit the city where her family relocated out of St Louis. When she was 23 she was in more than 50 productions mostly at university productions and regional theaters. She was Juliet as the twisted young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet reprised in "Romeo as well as Juliet." The year 1987 was the first time she played the role in a film named "Ricochet". Barone also part of a scene from "The Roseary Murders". Then, in the year 1996, she was the main character in a romantic comedy that was independent called "Just Friends". Barone had her first notable Hollywood film role in the form of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) which was a failed attempt to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone made an appearance on screen in "Wounded Heart", a 1995 USA Network film. Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air as a co-star on "Daddio", NBC 2000 along with Michael Chiklis.
