Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on the 2nd of December, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her roles in TV shows and films. Brandt started her acting in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom, began her American debut on the stage with the character of Naevia as part of the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous shows over the last decade and included in them Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Since 2016, Brandt has been playing the character in the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt grew up within Cape Town South Africa. In her late teens, she relocated to Auckland New Zealand along with her mother and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career in ads and printed commercials. She was employed as a consultant for IT recruitment as well as in retail, before becoming a well-known fashion model. In 2009 she was offered her first role in Leilani as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Her debut appearance came on Spartacus Blood and Sand in 2021. She was Naevia, a slave in the show. The character of Naevia was also played by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The role she was playing first came to her in Mazikeen as a demon who hunts for bounty in Netflix's hit show Lucifer. The most prominent role she has is in this role. This show has her co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
