Born on 2 December 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. After beginning her acting career by appearing on The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her next role playing Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, she has appeared in numerous television shows, including those from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. In the year 2016 Brandt has played the role in the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. The family moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her teens. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before her rise to the spotlight as a model, she was employed in sales at retail as well as being an IT recruitment consultant. In 2009 she was cast in the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she starred in Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl Naevia. The character of Naevia has also been reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred in three different television shows, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter in Netflix's cult show Lucifer. This happens to be her biggest role to date. She is co-starring in the show together with Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
