Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African model and actress born on the 2nd of December, 1981. Her most well-known roles are in television as well as in films. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander in the show Diplomatic Immunity. The actress appeared in numerous television series during the last decade including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt was first introduced to the role of Mazikeen (the part that was played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro) in the urban-fantasy series Lucifer from 2016. Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town in South African. She moved to Auckland with her family when she reached her teens. Her career began as model in print as well as commercial advertisements. The rise of her to fame as a supermodel started when she worked in the retail industry and recruitment for information technology. Her first starring role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the role of Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she had her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl, Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred on three separate television series, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix successful show Lucifer. This is her biggest role so far. On the show, she is paired with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo, an American TV journalist who was the first to broadcast from broadcasting from New York Stock Exchange floor live is a highly acclaimed TV personality who has appeared on a variety of famous shows. Veteran broadcaster with more than 20 years experience of reporting on business and the economics, she was instrumental in helping CNBC grow into one of television's most popular channels for business and economics. Maria's remarkable journalism career leads one to believe she was born for the field. But as a teenager, Maria was confused as to what career to pursue. Her dream was to be singing one day and become an interior designer in the next. After discovering the joys of journalism, she has never turned to another career. The feisty lady is not just an excellent journalist but also an inspiration for the women who are aspiring to make their mark in a dominating society. The award was given to her as one of "50 Faces of Decade" she became the first journalist woman to enter the Cable Hall of Fame. She's also a writer and columnist.
