Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. She managed to make it on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances as compared to the performance of her peers. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, when she joined the group called Dragons Playground. The group didn't get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. That was also where she came across Dave Stewart with whom she formed the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992, her first solo album. This album became a huge hit as well as selling and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some recognition in the 1970s. Then, she joined fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox started her own solo career by releasing her debut album Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass.
